Ondo @50: ODCHC DG congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa, reaffirms commitment to quality healthcare
The Director-General of the Ondo State Contributory Health Commission (ODCHC) Dr. Abiodun Oyeneyin has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the people of the state on the successful celebration of Ondo State’s recent anniversary, describing the occasion as a moment of reflection, unity, and renewed commitment to development.
Speaking with newsmen at the stadium while at the ODCHC medical outreach, held in support of the anniversary celebration, the Director-General said the milestone underscored the vision, resilience, and sacrifices that have shaped the growth and progress of the state over the years.
According to him, “the anniversary provided an opportunity for residents to reflect on the efforts of past leaders while recommitting themselves to building a more prosperous, inclusive, and people-centred Ondo State.”
He noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, particularly his emphasis on inclusive governance and commitment to Universal Health Coverage, had continued to inspire confidence among citizens. He added that the health sector had benefited from deliberate policies aimed at improving access to quality and affordable healthcare across the state.
The ODCHC Director-General reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to supporting the state government’s health agenda through the effective implementation of the health insurance scheme, with the goal of expanding healthcare coverage and improving health outcomes for residents.
He urged the people of the state to sustain the spirit of unity and cooperation that characterised the anniversary celebration, stressing that collective effort remained critical to achieving sustainable development.
Oyeneyin congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa once again and wished Ondo State continued peace, stability, and progress as it moves into a new chapter of its history.
